This Earth Day celebration event will feature numerous interactive booths, each with different activities and workshops for attendees. The booths will be managed by the partner organizations including UC Berkeley, UC Merced, Little Manila Rising, San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Stockton, Central Valley Air Quality Coalition, Socio Environmental and Education Network, and more! SUSD will also be showcasing their brand-new all-electric  MicroBird buses!

About the SUSD Clean Mobility in Schools Project: Stockton Unified School District has partnered with the Center for Transportation and the Environment, Schneider Electric, NV5, The Mobility House, A-Z Bus, and ViriCiti on the California Air Resources Board’s Clean Mobility in Schools Grant Program for the Getting Stockton to Zero - Emissions: Clean Air for Our Community project. The project has deployed 14 electric school buses, electric lawn and garden equipment, and related charging infrastructure; created a master plan detailing the most effective way to improve air quality in the greater Stockton region and achieve a fully zero-emission school district; and aims to communicate the project’s results to the community and SUSD’s students. SUSD is aiming to have a 95% electric school bus fleet by 2028.
